REGROUP Motorcycle Education

Learn the basics in a step-by-step process guided by MSF-trained instructors from a combination of hands-on riding experience and classroom instruction.

• We provide the small training motorcycles (125 and 250 cc engines). 
• Learn to ride with hands-on training in a secured large parking area!
• Earn possible insurance discounts!
• Motorcyclists returning to the sport are welcome.

This course is for beginners with little or no experience, those seeking a motorcycle license, or enthusiasts returning to the sport.

• Students participate in a curriculum which consists of 5 hours of classroom and 10 hours of hands-on training.  Throughout the hands-on exercises students have the opportunity to practice riding and to demonstrate they have the strength, balance and coordination to perform straight-line riding, shifting, cornering, braking, swerving and other skills and techniques.

• Participants must be at least 16 years old (parental permission and proof of driver-ed completion is required for those under 18).
• Great physical strength is not necessary but a good sense of balance and coordination is essential!  If you are unsure, and wish to evaluate your skills, we suggest you peddle a bicycle for a few miles before enrolling in a class.
• For the protection of all concerned, we reserve the right to suspend anyone from riding activities if, in our opinion, they can not control a motorcycle.
  

To qualify for a waiver eliminating the State of Maine motorcycle road test, you must:

• hold a valid driver's license
• attend all sessions
• achieve a minimum of 80% on the 50 question test
• pass the riding skill evaluation
• meet all requirements set forth by the State Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycle Safety Foundation
